Sign Up in the App
Visit the Tournament screen in the Play Online section of the app to see the scheduled tournaments, and to sign up! If you're playing on a mobile device, you should get a reminder notification before the tournament starts, so that you don't miss the fun!
Game Types
Thanks to the different game modes that are possible with Draconis 8, we're able to offer a rotating schedule of tournaments.
- Single Collection
Play with a single pack from your collection. How many wins can you achieve?
- Triple Ethereal
Build a constructed deck out of three random ethereal* packs. Don't forget, you can modify your deck between rounds!
- Keep watching the app for more tournament formats!
Tournament Structure and Rewards
Most tournaments will consist of a number of "Swiss" rounds where players are paired according to their win/loss record. After those rounds, the specified number of players with the best scores will advance to single-elimination rounds to determine the overall winner. The rewards for the tournament are shown in the app. Players have the opportunity to win Gold, Shards, Avatars, and even new digital Packs!
*Ethereal packs only last for the length of the event (game, tournament, etc.). They are not added to your permanent collection.
